Class Descriptions & Information

Introduction to Concept Training

Playing to Training!

3-Week Class, $180.00 (In-Person) / $135.00 (Online)

Includes (1) training session and (1) virtual Q&A session per week.

Available as in-person class and virtual class, check schedule for availability.

Game-Based Training is likely unique from any dog training you’ve ever done. For this reason, we recommend that you to attend Introduction to Game-Based Training first so that you have a strong understanding and solid foundation in the concepts we will be teaching.

Whether you have had dogs all your life or you are a first-time dog parent, this course is a must to help you get into a new groove!

In this class, we’ll cover beginning training concepts such as:

  • “Ditch the Bowl”

  • “Ditch the Routine”

  • Why game-based training works so well

  • Creating a Solid Boundary (some of you might refer to this as “place”)

  • How to use your dog’s daily food, a favorite toy, and YOU as rewards in training and daily life!

[For the first in-person class, you’ll leave your pup at home and our demo dogs will be here to show you how it’s done and answer all of your questions. Then, you'll bring your pup for classes 2 and 3.]

Intro
Easy Peasy Walks

Easy-Peasy Walks

6-Week Class, $300.00

Includes (1) in-person and (1) virtual Q&A session per week.

Does your dog constantly pull you down the street, tug after squirrels, or lag behind you and refuse to walk while chewing on the leash? Does he struggle to walk on a loose leash by your side?

Have you given up on walks and resolved to let him potty in the backyard? Has your dream of long strolls through the park turned into a nightmare?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, this is for you.

By the end of this 6-week course, your dog will go from disengaged to dedicated!

In this class, we’ll cover:

  • Disengagement with the Environment

  • Orientation to You (or “Eyes on You!”)

  • Loose Leash Walking

  • Recall

House Manners

House Manners Are Not Just For Humans

4-Week Class, $240.00

Includes (1) in-person and (1) virtual Q&A session per week.

Whether you just brought a new puppy home or are adopting an adult dog from your local rescue, house manners are a must!

Running through the doorway, barking at the Amazon driver, or taking over your brand-new sofa are not good house manners in anyone’s eyes. Yelling doesn’t work. Shaking cans of pennies is stressful to you and your pup, and e-collars are just not an option.

Fundamentally Fido needs to develop two concepts…

CALMNESS | BOUNDARIES

In this course, your dog’s mindset will be reshaped to understand that CALMNESS IS KING and joyfully learn the do's and the don'ts of house rules.

This 4-week course will set you and your pup up for success. And don’t worry if you have had your pup for weeks, months, or even years. Old dogs can ALWAYS learn new tricks!

In this class, we’ll cover scenarios like:

  • Piddling outside.

  • Happily running to their bed when guests arrive.

  • Staying put while you carry grocery bags through the door.

  • Keeping all four feet on the floor instead of the kitchen counter.

  • How to deal with barking.

Puppy Pathways

Puppy Pathways

8-Week Class, $450.00

Includes (1) in-person and (1) virtual Q&A session per week.

You just brought home a new puppy - how exciting! AND possibly overwhelming!

Some puppies are an absolute dream and others have a mind of their own. Either way, both need a solid foundation to grow into a loving and well-mannered dog.

Whether you’ve had dogs your whole life and you just got a new friend or this is your first puppy, we’ve got you covered in Puppy Pathways!

In this class, we’ll cover:

  • Potty Training

  • Crate Training

  • Proximity (to you)

  • Boundary (“place”)

  • Disengagement with the Environment

  • Beginner Leash Work (including loose leash walking)

Sweet but Spicy

Sweet but Spicy

6-Week Class, $360.00

Includes (1) in-person and (1) virtual Q&A session per week.

You LOVE your dog and how she greets you with licks and wags. You clip on her leash to go for a walk and out the front door you go, only to be caught off guard by the neighbor walking past your driveway as you venture out. BAM!

Your normally sweet dog goes from licky-face to snippy-face. She’s got her sharp teeth out for all to see, growling, barking, and lunging at the neighbor’s dog! It is all you can do to hang on for dear life.

If this sounds like you, run - don’t walk - to register for this 6-week class. Your sweet but spicy dog and your neighbor will thank you.

In this class, we’ll cover:

  • Disengagement from distractions (dogs, people, squirrels etc.).

  • Interaction Chain

  • Engagement with You

  • Calmness

  • Tolerance of Frustration

  • Training for the situation not in the situation.

All Group Classes Include*:
